Kofi Sonokpon is an aviation expert, author, and leadership strategist with more than 20 years of international experience. As Head of Programs and editor of Airline Profits, the first magazine dedicated to airline profitability, he has become a respected voice in the global aviation industry.
Kofi is the author of several books and the creator of the success formula Vision + Determination + Adversity + Perseverance = Success. He has also developed practical tools that help organizations strengthen leadership, improve effectiveness, and increase profitability. These include YearPlanner, a productivity system; Vision Load Factor, a leadership metric; the T.A.L.E.N.T. Criteria for identifying and retaining talent; and Create3, a system for building profitable start ups or transforming existing businesses.
As an international speaker, Kofi is known for his insights on leadership, performance, and organizational growth. Since 2010, he has also been committed to supporting youth and fighting high school dropout rates. His dedication earned him recognition as a role model in the Valorisation Jeunesse program.
Originally from Togo, Kofi made history in 2013 as the first candidate of foreign descent to run for mayor of Montreal. He holds an International Aviation MBA from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University and has received several professional and community honors, including being named a Laureate of Black History Month in 2014.
